We’re excited to announce the kick-off to our journey into webcam based eyetracking. After some months of sketching and thinking out loud, we’ve decided to build a platform for creating, running and analyzing webcam based eyetracking studies.
For now we only have a rough idea of what the platform will look like and which features it will include. Of course we’ll make sure to include the industry standard visualisations and metrics such as heatmaps and AOI statistics. However, we are convinced that there is a lot more to learn from eyetracking data, so we want to go beyond the standard output formats and include innovative features such as pathplots, live website testing or hexbins. Next up: building up a team of curious developers and acquiring some funding to get us going.
