"Web pages should be easy to understand and, in the case of advertisements, the message should catch the eye right away. To achieve this, the elements must be arranged in such a way that the eye is immediately drawn to them. The common pattern for this is the so-called Z pattern. The eye starts at the top left and flies across the page in the form of the letter Z. But is that really the case?"
